A plate to some of the text from John Milton's "Paradise Lost"; an epic religious poem concerning the Christian story of the Fall of Man. After Adam confessed that he longed for a companion on his arrival in the Garden of Paradise, God created Eve from one of his ribs whilst he slept. This is the moment when Eve arrives in Paradise, at which point Adam falls instantly in love.
