Thomas Sugden, a misforunate man from Yorkshire who lost his sight during a storm aboard a merchant ship called the Gregson. He was known in London for walking around the streets with two, maybe three, tame pidgeons on his shoulders, with a staff, a dog his hat upturned for any spare change.
