Conyers Middleton (1683-1750) was an English clergyman. Born and educated in Yorkshire, he went on to graduate from Trinity College Cambridge, taking holy orders later on, and in 1706 he obtained a fellowship, which he resigned upon entering into an advantageous marriage. He wrote several trenchant pamphlets.
