Etching with aquatint, from a limited edition numbered 4/25 by the artist in pencil, very rare, 185 x 255mm. 7¼ x 10". Some marginal spotting.
Boats on a Malaysian river. Frederick H. Halpern (b.1909), Austrian-born artist and writer. Halpern studied painting and printmaking techniques in both Vienna and Paris. Throughout his career he travelled extensively. He settled in Australia in the early 1950s.
