A plan of Wapping showing the London docks and proposed site of St. Catherine's docks. Additional pen and ink and wash has been added to identify certain buildings as houses, warehouses etc. The St. Katharine docks bill was passed in 1825 (shortly after this plan was printed), with the foundation stone being laid in 1827.
