The Winter Palace, or Stadtpalais, built in Vienna for François-Eugène, Prince of Savoy-Carignan (1663 – 1736) by Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach (1656 - 1723), probably the most influential Austrian architect of the Baroque period. From a series of reduced views in Vienna published by Bowles, numbered '2' upper right.
