Black George Seagrim is a character in Henry Fielding's 'Tom Jones', an impoverished gamekeeper who repays Tom's help by stealing a banknote from him. George's daughter, Molly, is Tom's first lover and persuades him that he is the father of her child, although she has several other lovers.
