A scene showing pickpocket George Barrington (1755-1804) picking a pocket, below are various aparatus for stealing. George Barrington was a socialite who was convicted for stealing in 1790 and transported to Botany Bay. On his journey to Australia he alerted the captain to a plan to seize the ship, on their arrival the captain reported his actions to the authorities and he received a warrant of emancipation, he later became high constable of Parramatta.

First published in 1768, the plate has been re-worked for this issue, which was probably to celebrate her marriage.

Johnson was a devout Anglican and political conservative, and has been described as "arguably the most distinguished man of letters in English history".

Portrait of, watchmaker, William Jones (1809-1873), one of the three leaders of the failed Chartist rising at Newport, Monmouthshire, in November 1839 depicted in the dock at his trial for treason the following January. On 3-4 November 1839, Jones was supposed to be bringing men to Newport from the Pontypool area and the eastern valleys of Monmouthshire on the night of the rising, but they never arrived, delaying the main body of Chartists final march into Newport into the daylight hours and thus partly contributing to its defeat. He was sentenced to death for High Treason but his sentence was commuted and he was transported to Australia.

A portrait of botanist George Lloyd of Brynestyn (1815-43) author of 'Travels in the Himalaya Mountains', shown reclining in arab dress. He accompanied his friend the artist Prisse d'Avennes on his travels through Egypt, dying at Thebes when his rifle accidentaly discharged. While dying he managed to write a letter to his father explaining his death. Very fine 1st state with wonderful fresh colour. Published in the 'Oriental Album: Characters, Costumes, and Modes of Life, in the Valley of the Nile' by Achille-Constant-Theodore Emile Prisse d'Avennes (1807-79), a French orientalism who embraced Islam and took the name Edris-Effendi. The book was dedicated to Lloyd.

A full-length portrait of General Sir Banastre Tarleton (1754 - 1833), 1st Baronet, GCB, in the uniform of the British legion, is in a half-stooping attitude with left leg on a cannon on which lies a standard, both hands holding the hilt of his sword; plumes of smoke and two horses behind him. A Loyalist cavalry commander, Tarleton served with much distinction in the American War in 1776-81 under Lord Cornwallis. This portrait was painted by Sir Joshua Reynolds for Tarleton's mother in 1782 and is now in the National Portrait Gallery.

The two children stand in a garden beside a sphinx on a pedestal, Lady Amabel Grey on the left with a dove perched on her right hand, and Lady Mary Jemima running towards her holding another dove, a poodle at her heels. The children grew up to become: Amabel Hume-Campbell, Countess de Grey (1751-1833), the political writer and amateur artist; and Mary Jemima Robinson, known as Lady Grantham (1757-1830), mother of Prime Minister Viscount Goderich.
