Johann Michael Seligmann (1720-1762), a German artist and engraver primarily known for his ornithological artwork in "Sammlung verschiedener ausländischer und seltener Vögel" (1749-64), which contained translations of George Edwards's 'A Natural History of Birds' and 'Gleanings of Natural History'.
