Sold by J:Wilcox in Little Brittain, J:Batley in Pater Noster Row, and J:Sachfield in Lincoln's Inn Square [n.d., c.1725].
Etching with engraving. Sheet 460 x 320mm (18 x 12¼"). Trimmed within plate on three sides, cracks in folds, some staining, laid on card. Damaged.
A plate with notated hunting-calls, illustrated with ten panels, showing a roe buck, a buck, a hinde, a stag, a royal hart, a hare, a fox, an otter, and a badger, and a scene of a stag hunt. The plate (frontispiece) appeared folded into Nicolas Cox's 'Gentleman's Recreation'. BM 1994,1211.2.
