Trimmed to plate, laid.on board. Crofton Hall, a school attended by the Bronte sisters, in Crofton, near Wakefield, Yorkshire, now the site of Crofton High School. In 1808 Miss Richmal Mangnall (1769-1820), a former pupil, bought Crofton Hall, running the school there until her death. She was one of the most prominent educators of girls of her time.
