She wears a beautiful dress, feathered cap on a slant and a miniture portrait on a chain across her body. In her folded arms she carries a fan. A pug-dog at her feet looks up at her adoringly. Presumably a relation to the artist Thomas Hudson (1701-79) whom the print is after.
