A visitor's keyplate for the exhibition of a 360º painting on the inside of the rotunda of Barker's Panorama, a purpose-built gallery in Leicester Street. Visitors would climb stairs to a viewing platform and use this as a guide to the painting. It was issued as a folding plate in a leaflet, 'Description of Lord Exmouth's attack upon Algiers : painted by Henry Aston Barker', written by James Jennings. The rotunda is preserved within the French Catholic 'Church of Notre Dame de France'.

A key plate to a view of Athens exhibited in Barker's Panorama in the Strand. This alternative venue to the more famous Panorama in Leicester Square was opened in 1801 by Thomas Edward Barker and Ramsay Richard Reinagle.
