Mörner [signed in plates.] [Naples, Italy, c.1827.] Set of eight lithographs with fine hand colour. Trimmed around titles and laid on album pages. Charming semi-caricatured vignettes of Neapolitan street life, in vibrant contemporary hand colour, from the series 'Nuova Raccolta di scene popolari e costumi di Napoli disegnati esattamente dal vero'. They include crowd watching a Punch and Judy show, a religious procession with icon commemorating the Holy Virgin, a water-seller and soldier refreshing, a barber, roast chestnut seller, and a tambourine-seller. Hfalmar Mörner (1794 - 1837) was a Swedish count and amateur etcher; in Rome 1816-28.
