'The Wedding Night' shows a very sleepy woman helped into bed by her new husband and servants. Engraved by Jean Michel Moreau (1741-1814), after a gouache painting by Pierre Antoine Baudouin (1723-69). The coat of arms of Christian IV, Count Palatine of Zweibrücken, to whom the print is dedicated, is engraved below the image.
