View of boats on the River Thames near Woolwich. By Georg Daniel Heumann (1691 - 1759), draughtsman and engraver born in Nuremberg. He was a member of the Nuremberg academy, and described on some prints as 'Königl. Gross-Brit. Hofkupferstecker' (engraver for the British court?). This plate was bought and reissued in London by John Boydell (1719 - 1804) in 1750.
