Etching. 254 x 178mm. 10 x 7". Very rare.
The date attributed to this etching is incorrect for Elizabeth Gulston as she lived from 1749 to 1779. Probably Sir Cornelis Maartenszoon Tromp (1629-1691), the Dutch naval officer who fought in the first three Anglo-Dutch Wars and in the Scanian War.
