Arthur Pond (1701-1758) was a British painter, engraver, print-seller, dealer and collector. He studied with John Vanderbank before entering St Martin's Lane Academy in 1720. He visited Italy in 1725-7 with George Knapton, John Dyer and Daniel Wray. Hake: 87.
