Sheet size: 335 x 390mm (13¼ x 15¼"). Slightly grubby in title. An attractive view of Sewerby House, also known as Sewerby Hall, and grounds in Bridlington, Yorkshire, England. John Greame was the first of the Greame family to live at the old manor house at Sewerby, purchasing it from Elizabeth Carleill on the death of his father in 1708. He built the present Sewerby Hall between 1714 - 1720, replacing the manor house which had existed on the site for many years.
