''The Swedish King Carl Gustavus' flight from Amager, when the Danes in the presence of their King Frederik III, and under the command of Generals Gyldenlöve and Ahlefeldt, completely defeated the Swedes and drove them out 10 October 1658.'' A battle on Amager in 1659 (not 1658), during the Dano-Swedish War (1658-1660), when the Swedes besieged Copenhagen. The original oil, painted by Christian August Lorentzen (1749-1828) in 1791, is in the National Gallery of Denmark. See SMK KMS923 for the painting.
