[n.d., c.1835.] Folio, original cloth gilt; 32 etchings on 17 sheets, interleaved with tissue. Foxing, ex libris label on front pastedown. A collection of etchings of various subjects, dates 1832-4, including Italian landscapes and ruins, portraits of street people (many copied from old masters), and a view of Knowles Church. A Derbyshire-born artist, Simon Frederick Every (1804-1888) emigrated to New Zealand in 1856. The bookplate is of Sir Tonman Mosley of Rolleston Hall, great-grandfather of fascist leader Sir Oswald Mosley.
