View of a tomb under a rounded arch, with a sculpture of Thomas Guy standing on a pedestal, pointing with his right hand towards left, holding the hand a sick man seated at right; hospital building behing; two roundels at front. Thomas Guy (1644-1724) was a British bookseller, speculator and de facto founder of Guy's Hospital, London in 1707.
