Miss Salethea (Salathea) Dawkens, leaning over a low wall, wearing a hat and ribbon around her neck and looking at viewer. According to 'Musgrave's Obituary' (The Publications of the Harleian Society, Vol LXV, 1900) Dawkens was a courtesan. The artist, engraver and sitter are unknown. CS: 1.
