A portrait of the medieval poet Geoffrey Chaucer (1343-1400) depicted on the tomb erected for him in 1556 by Nicholas Brigham in Westminster Abbey. The portrait is a copy of John Speed's portrait used in the 1598 Speght editions of Chaucer, the image was used throughout the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
