Two horse riders and their hounds passing Lulworth Castle, Dorset, an early 17th century mock castle. Originally it was built as a hunting lodge for Thomas Howard in 1610. In 1641 it was purchased by Humphrey Weld. The castle is still owned by the Weld family. Many properties were held by the family, but in 1793 Thomas Weld donated Stonyhurst Hall to the Society of Jesus. From the oblong folio 'Views of Waymouth' (1791, 12 plates) after J. Nixon, A. Beaumont; T. Morris, F. Bowles, and J. Love.
