Very rare hand coloured etching. 220 x 185mm (8¾ x 7¼"), with large margins. Printers crease. Tear on left just touching the plate mark taped. One very small wormhole on right middle.
A copy of James Gillray's caricature map 'Britannia' (published by Hannah Humphrey in 1791, BM Satires 8045), depicting England and Wales as an old hag riding a sea monster. One hand holds a trident, with Anglesey as a small bird on the other.
