Five plates from a set of twelve showing the surroundings of the castle of Longuetoise, near Chalo-Saint-Mars in the metropolitan area of Paris, France. Etched by Albert Flamen (1620-c.1693), Flemish artist active in France who made over 600 prints, many produced in small series such as this and often revealing the influence of Jacques Callot, one of the greatest printmakers of the 17th century.
