Head & shoulders portrait of Francis Rawdon-Hastings, 2nd Earl of Moira and later 1st Marquess of Hastings Rawdon-Hastings (1754-1826) fought with distinction in the American War of Independence and French Revolutionary Wars, before becoming a politician serving as Governor General of India from 1813 to 1823. This portrait was published while Moira was serving as a general in Scotland.
