A woman in a classical shift, her arms wrapped around an ornate lute with broken strings. A scene from Jean de La Fontaine's fable, 'La Cigale et la Fourmi' (The Grasshopper and the Ant'), with a woman representing the grasshopper who has played all summer and is unprepared for winter.
