[French, c.1820.] Rare lithograph, sheet 275 x 265mm. 10¾ x 10½". Cut, repaired damage at top. Unidentified sculpture from the collection of Dominique Vivant, Baron de Denon (1747-1825), French artist, writer, diplomat, author, and archaeologist. From a series of antiquities depicted by the printmaker and painter Pierre Bouillon (1776-1831). Bouillon, from Thiviers, was joint winner of the prestigious Prix de Rome in 1797 with his painting 'Death of Cato the Younger'.
