William Walker (1766? - 1816), lecturer on astronomy and eldest son of Adam Walker. He demonstrated the 'Eidouranion', or ‘Large Transparency Orrery', invented by his father. It used some form of back projection to give astronomical effects on a screen. This was accompanied by Adam's lecturing and music played on a Celestina - a type of glass organ.
