A handsome pair of allegorical representations of the arts. By Conrad Martin Metz (1749 - 1827), German artist and engraver who specialised in reproductions of drawings. He was a pupil of Bartolozzi, in London by 1781. He moved to Rome in 1801 where he remained till his death.
