Tinted lithograph, printed area 325 x 490mm.
Dedicated to the goddess Hathor, the fašade of this temple is quite unusual in having panels halfway up most of the columns. These panels are covered with Hieroglyphic text and bas-relief. The Coptic christians had used this temple as a church and consequently many of the remarkable column capitals that are represations of the goddess have been defaced.
