A plate from John Edwards' extremely rare work 'A Collection of Flowers Drawn after Nature and disposed in an ornamental and picturesque manner', published complete in 1801, but the laid paper suggests this was printed much earlier. The hyacinths, pink, blue and white and pink, are bound with ribbon and are presented within an oval with a grey wash frame.
