Benjamin Disraeli, Earl of Beaconsfield, Viscount Hughenden of Hughenden, (1804-1881), British statesman and novelist who was twice prime minister (1868, 1874–80) and who provided the Conservative Party with a twofold policy of Tory democracy and imperialism. After Austrian painter Heinrich von Angeli, (1840-1925), engraved by Thomas Lewis Atkinson (1817-c.1890).
