Brockley Park, County Laois (formerly Queen's County), designed by Davis Ducart. This plate was engraved by Thomas Milton after William Pars and issued in the third installment (of six) of Milton's 'A Collection of Select Views from the different Seats of the Nobility and Gentry in the Kingdom of Ireland', published 1783-93, with a total of 24 plates. Milton (1743-1827), son of marine painter John Milton, is believed to have been a pupil of William Woollett. He later worked on Boydell's Shakespeare series and aquatinted some of Luigi Meyer's views of Egypt.
