A picturesque view of Plymouth Fort and St. Nicholas' Island (now renamed Drake's Island), seen across the water, from Mount Edgcumbe Estate, Cornwall, with three figures and grazing deer among trees in the foreground. Several ships can be seen on the water. This plate is from a series of five prints depicting the celebrated scenery of Mount Edgcumbe, inspired by the oil painting by artists George Lambert (1710 - 1765) and Samuel Scott (1710 - 1772).
