The first plate from one of Hogarth's most famous works, 'The Four Times of the Day'. The series begins with 'Morning', in Covent Garden showing the imfamous 'Tom King's Coffee House' on the right, with the successive plates showing scenes in the locales of St. Giles'-in-the-Fields, Sadlers Wells, and Rummer Court. This print was engraved and published by William Hogarth himself.
