Rustic family by a bridge over a stream, originally published as one of a pair. One of few prints after George Lambert (1699/1700-1765), landscape and scene painter who adapted the popular ideal landscapes of Gaspard Dughet (Poussin) to the English landscape in a way both naturalistic and picturesque.
