Landscape after Gaspard Dughet (1615-75), artist also known as Poussin after his brother-in-law and teacher Nicolas Poussin. Engraved by the leading line engraver Thomas Major (1720-99) soon after he returned from a spell in France which included three months imprisoned in the Bastille.
