Two portrait busts in ovals, on the left is Elizabeth Hankey and on the right Lt. Col. Turner Straubenzee. Following the elopment of Hankey and Straubenzee from Brighton to Dorking where Straubenzee's regiment was station, John Hankey brought a suit of crim. con. against Elizabeth. From the 'Histories of the Tête à Tête annexed...' series that appeared in 'Town and Country Magazine', a monthy magazine which featured articles on the scandals and romantic affairs of the nobility.
