A decorative landscape scene with musicians playing instruments in the foreground to the right, with shepherds and goats behind and in the centre. A running stream can be seen on the left, behind which is a building set within hills. From the series 'The Most Capital Paintings in England', Boydell's first major initiative as a pioneering publisher of fine engravings.
