Lion in the Escutcheon, centre, flanked by two unicorns (right unicorn holding Scottish flag with 'R J 6' and thistle in four quadrants). Atop the imperial crown a lion holding sword and sceptre. Thistles and St Andrew holding crosss below. Coat of Arms used by James VI of Scotland until the Union of the Crowns in 1603.
