A biblical scene; Delilah reclining on a bed at the right, with a dog and a pair of scissors with cut off hair on the floor below. Samson is being tied with ropes by two soldiers, as he struggles to reach Delilah. Three other soldiers look on from the left. After Anthony van Dyck (1599 - 1641), etched by Hendrick Snyers (1621 - 1667) and published in Antwerp by Abraham van Diepenbeeck (1596 - 1675).
