A coastal view,depicting a building at the end of a long pier in the middle ground, with four columns supporting a pediment in the porch. various figures are seen near a rowing boat in the foreground. From William Daniell's 'A Voyage Round Great Britain', a series of 308 aquatints published in eight volumes between 1814-1825, described by R.V. Tooley as 'the most important colour plate book on British Topography'.
