A view of Duntulm from the Isle of Skye, with a man wearing tartan reclining on a rock on a hillside in foreground at right and sheep grazing at the far right. Duntulm Castle can be seen in the centre near the water, with the curving coastline in the background. From William Daniell's 'A Voyage Round Great Britain', a series of 308 aquatints published in eight volumes between 1814-1825, described by R.V. Tooley as 'the most important colour plate book on British Topography'.
