A view of Dunvegan Castle, with a figure dressed in a kilt walking on a path on a riverbank in the foreground, and a woman standing with another kneeling on a path on the left bank. Figures can be seen crossing an arched bridge in the middle ground. From William Daniell's 'A Voyage Round Great Britain', a series of 308 aquatints published in eight volumes between 1814-1825, described by R.V. Tooley as 'the most important colour plate book on British Topography'.
