A satire on the South Sea Bubble financial crisis in 1720. A scene in the clouds with groups of people and animals accompanied by numbers and texts. In the centre for example, is a windmill, lettered '1720', in front of which an investor wearing a fool's cap is seated in a child's wheeled chair blowing bubbles. On his head is a raven about to peck out his eyes and beside him stands his distraught wife and three ragged children quarrelling. The illustrations are numbered 1-12, with inscriptions in four columns below in Dutch. From the series entitled, 'Het Groote Tafereel der Dwaasheid', meaning 'The Great Scene of Folly', published 1720.
