Bedwell Park in Hertfordshire, which had been owned by the brewer Samuel Whitbread in the 18th century. Lithographed by Mary Anne Theresa Whitby (1784-1850). Whitby inherited the country seat of Newlands, Hampshire in 1819, on the death of Sir William Cornwallis. Whitby was an amateur lithographer who established a private press at Newlands.
