View of Cork Harbour from Cobh on Great Island, the town was known as Queenstown until 1920. Cork Harbour is a natural harbour at the mouth of the River Lee. The harbour contains several islands including Great Island from which the view is taken. Several ships are depicted in the harbour and figures can be seen on the beaches.
